Dr. Juliette Gassert, Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Juliette Gassert, a Maryland native, received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Maryland. She joined Advanced Hearing Care in April 2017 after having spent 3 years practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Dr. Gassert is an avid Washington Capitals hockey and Terps basketball fan, a long time competitive volleyball player and enjoys exploring new restaurants.

Audiology Assistant

Deana is our Audiology Assistant and has been working at Advanced Hearing Care since June of 2012. She is a registered Medical Assistant and also attended Ministry School and is an Ordained Chaplain through the International Fellowship of Chaplains. In her spare time, she is a member/instructor for the Charleston CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams). A native of Charleston, she lives in West Ashley and is a single mother of two and a “grammy” of several grandchildren.

Audiologist

Dr. Kimberly Combs joined the Advanced Hearing Care team in January 2018. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D) from AT Still University and has been providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing health care for all ages since 1992. She is licensed in the state of South Carolina and Ohio, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Prior to moving to Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Combs owned and operated an audiology practice in Ohio and worked extensively to educate the community on hearing loss and its effects on communication and relationships.
When she is not helping our patients hear at their best, Dr. Combs enjoys outdoor activities, listening to music and traveling.

Jenn Lewis

Jenn Lewis

Physician Liaison and Patient Care Specialist

Jenn is our Physician Liaison and Patient Care Specialist. She joined our practice in November of 2013. She is responsible for building and developing relationships with local physicians and scheduling patients for a variety of appointments in the office. Jenn hails from Myrtle Beach and is a graduate of College of Charleston where she majored in corporate communications. She has many years of experience providing quality customer service. She is close to her family and loves being an aunt to her nephews.

Patient Care Coordinator

Laquetta is our Patient Care Coordinator recently joining the practice in April 2017. She is a native Charlestonian and attended DeVry University studying courses in Business Management. Laquetta has many years of customer service experience in the medical industry and is excited to apply this knowledge to her position with Advanced Hearing Care.

Laquetta comes from a strong Christian background and regularly attends Royal Baptist Church where she is a youth minister to 7th and 8th grade girls. She resides in North Charleston and enjoys cooking, bicycling and spending as much time as possible with her five grandchildren

Margaret Macferran

Margaret Macferran

Patient Care Coordinator

Prior to moving to the Charleston area in 1998, Margaret had worked in Medical office management for 20 years. She continued her career in healthcare, as practice manager for a plastic surgeon in Charleston for 11 years before joining the team at Advanced Hearing Care in November 2012. She provides general assistance in the front office and is responsible for the insurance filing and posting. She has a married son and three grandchildren. She enjoys volunteering, church and ministry activities at East Cooper Baptist Church, exercise, spending time with family and friends. She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her cat, Sadie.
